Stress may prevent them from being productive. Some people would not consider this challenge a type of stress because, having met the challenge, we are satisfied and happy.įeelings of negative stress usually increase when people believe the demands of a situation are greater than their ability to deal with it. This type of stress response is what helps you “rise” to a challenge and meet your goals such as deadlines, sales or production targets, or finding new clients. In fact, it is often what provides us with the energy and motivation to meet our daily challenges both at home and at the workplace. Some stress is expected and can be a positive force in our lives. These reactions are not the same from person to person. Stress is about reactions people have to the situations they face. We have to work through our problems and find constructive solutions. Today most of our problems cannot be solved with a fight or flight response. Stress is the body's response to real or perceived threats. I have heard stress can be both good and bad. It is generally believed that some stress is okay (sometimes referred to as “challenge” or “positive stress”) but when stress occurs in amounts that you cannot handle, both mental and physical changes may occur. It can impact on both employees and employers alike. Stress in the workplace can have many origins or come from one single event. In general, the combination of high demands in a job and a low amount of control over the situation can lead to stress. For the veterans, it is likely to be enough to say that Sniper Elite 2 is a “dumbed-down” version of SE3 and SE4, or will seem that way. Veteran players more or less know what they’re buying into, but the newcomers would want to know a bit more about the gameplay. For them, the purchase is about more than better graphics - it’s also about picking up all of the DLC in one swoop. The decision is much more obvious for a first-time buyer, or a previous owner that didn’t buy the contemporaneous DLC missions. Is it really worth it for someone that already has Sniper Elite 2 to upgrade to the remastered version? Well, I’m going to have to dodge that question because it is entirely dependent on personal priorities. The most obvious (and pretty much only) difference is, of course, in the graphics. Before releasing number 5, though, Rebellion has released an updated Sniper Elite 2, which they have given the not all that imaginative name Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. Sniper Elite 4 is a rock solid game and the imminent Sniper Elite 5 will more than likely be even better. Consider the Sniper Elite series - each was good enough to warrant another sequel, and each sequel made significant improvement to gameplay, mechanics, and, of course, graphics. That rarely happens in Hollywood, and it rarely doesn’t happen with games. A number of reasons exist for that, and one of them is when the sequels are vastly better than the early releases.
